"A CAMERA IS A SAVE BUTTON FOR THE MINDS EYE" -ROGEN KINGSTONG
The exposure triangle is an important part of digial photography. It is composed as shutter speed, aperture, and ISO. Shutter speed is how long you are allowing light to pass through. ISO (International Standards Organization) is how light sensitive your photo will be. The lower the ISO, the less light there will be; but the higher ISO, the more light your photos will have. Having your camera set to “white balance” controls the colors. These are some of my photos that I have taken and learned to make into a portfolio print during the course of this class.
Flowers are by far my favorite thing to photograph. Nature is absolutely beautiful to see through a camera lens when capturing a crisp, clean image. Which in this class, I have learned that most picture you will take, the shutter speed will be either 1/500 to 1/60 (average speed). In my experience, I have found that you get a more stunning image if you use a wide-angle lens. Because you can get a shallower depth of field.

in this photo you can see that has a larger depth of field. It is very easy not understanding how to the right ISO or shutter speed before taking this class. I would use TV or AV setting on the camera to do the work for me instead of using the M mode (Mutual mode). TV and AV settings are like “training wheels” when learning how to take pictures, because it will have the meter reading already made and the lighting will already perfect. When taking outdoor pictures, the ISO should be at 100-200 on a sunny day and 400 on cloudy days. However, increasing the ISO you’ll notice that the ‘noise’ or ‘grain’ in your shots will begin to increase.
